font pairings

  • #3 was chosen for readability and cohesion between the
    two typefaces

Final two selections focusing on logo elements (position and detail)

  • Needle adds extra content to the brand and the detailed bow
    was too busy

Final Logo

  • Type manipulation to emulate thread through the needle and on curl on F for cohesion

Two Magazine Ads

Made in Adobe InDesign

Showcasing the product through Magazine Ads

  • Used a photograph taken by myself rather than photoshopping the product on the person

  • Multi-color text was too busy, changed to white for
    better readability

  • Arrangement of scrap photographs to fill in blank areas

Final Magazine #1

  • Compositionally simpler with only one other added image beside
    the figure

  • Choosing green for the type for more contrast

  • Added a pink fabric as background to give more texture and lighten the image

Final Magazine #2

Magazine Mockup

Event Poster

Made in Adobe InDesign

  • Imagery ties in with sewing concept with a textured background and embroidery for the workshop

  • Composition of the flowers to wrap the text and using color to separate text

Brochure

Made in Adobe InDesign

  • Took away elements that were crowding for better cover

  • Darkened the green color on smaller text for
    better readability

Product Packaging

Made in Adobe Illustrator

  • Utilize the bunny mascot for Hair Clip and Scrunchie package (showcases the bunnies ears being tied up by
    the product)

  • The second package, the bow pattern, is utilized with a simpler hanger package design used for headbands and bandanas

Final Thoughts

What I learned from this project, was how to properly utilize a branding system throughout a set of brand elements. I also learned more about designing for 3D with the packaging and how to build an e-commerce website.
