Wild & Wonderful:
Wild & Wonderful Forest School is an outdoor-based learning program where children’s natural curiosity guides their education. Promoting free play in nature and taking part in their own education. They are looking for an Instagram carousel to help establish more of an online presence.

Sketch & Wireframe
Used very organic forms and images of nature such as a tree and leaf to really emphasize the forest school environment
In digital version a silhouette of West Virginia was added to give more context of where the forest school was located
First Draft
Included images into shapes for better integration
Tried to condense info to not be too overwhelming for the viewer on a mobile screen
Added texture overlays such as bark and leaves to add some variation between slides
On the first slide I created a larger area for the logo to pop and be seen better
On the fifth slide I changed the image layout so that she would not be cut off by the jagged edge of the state (the text wrapping around the state also was creating confusion)
The statement, “We strive to bring childhood back to nature” was hard to read across the 3 slides so it was taken out to prevent distraction
Separated the leaf from the text so that the readability would be better

Final Thoughts
What I learned from this project was how to work one on one with a client. I also learned more about the regulations of file sizing for social media posts and formatting videos to be included in the carousel.
